'IMPORTANCE OF GAMES'
* They Keep us fit and fine
* They entertain us
* Relax our mind
* Move can stress
Games ercist to entertain us, to practice on abilities, to think more, to teach us the difference between the good and evil, to teach us stuff about life, people, animals and countries. There are many kinds of games and each kind teaches us something different. The commonest of school games are cricket, tennis, badminton, football, hockey, volley - ball and kabaddi games have a definite role in our lives.
Advantage of competition in a game is that it does not have lasting consequences. Games can help us learn to think under pressure, so that when faced with a quick decision in real life, we have had practice in thinking and staying posed under pressure.
Games are not a waste of free time. Actually free time is the time one should devote in exploring his or her abilities through games and have fun in educating and exercising his or her body and mind. So keeping all these advantages in mind our school Bhulka Vihar is giving prime importance to games.
Generally games are played in every school. In our school we have a big playground, where the students play games regularly. We also celebrate our Annual sports Day every year in the month of January. Preparation for the celebration of the 'Sport Day' are made much in advance. The students who excel in games are given prizes by the chief guest loom race, relay race, long jump, cycle race, sack race, lemon and spoon race etc., are some of the games we are conducting on Sports Day. Every year we are conducting inter class cricket matches also. We are proud to say that many of our Bhulka Vihar students have reached the national level in Gymnastics, state level in Swimming competitions and Table Tennis also.
Our India's Sports stars like Sachin Tendulkar, Sania Mirza, PT Usha, Vishwanathan, Anand etc., have taken sports as their career. And we can see and smell their fame and power in the whole country and the world. These people have come from simple families because of the support of their family, School and society they came in to this position. So if we support the students who have real ability and skill they may also come up to this level one day.
